What exactly is the Farm Club:

The Farm Club is a form of Community or Customer Supported Agriculture, (CSA for short), that we at Spring Haven Farms use to help us be more efficient as a small farm operator.

To learn more about the CSA model, go to "what is a CSA?" link above.

When joining the Farm Club, you get the same benefit of receiving your fruits, vegetables and herbs at the farmers market as you would normally do.

By signing up early in the season and then scheduling an order in the system, you provide us the ability to properly plan our greenhouse utilization and schedule our crop and harvest rotations ensuring local produce picked at the optimum freshness just for you!

This helps us out tremendously as a small family farm in order for us to better serve and provide quality product for our customers and pass along the savings to you!

How to signup for the Farm Club:

To signup for a Farm Club share, click the tab above that says "Farm Club" and select the radio button for the specific share(s) you prefer and click "Add to Cart".

For product specific items, each product quantity will be available as one (1) share.

For example, one (1) farmer's dozen of sweet corn will be equal to one (1) Club/CSA share for $6.00, 1 quart of strawberries equal to one (1) Club/CSA share for $5.00, etc.

To add more than one (1) Club/CSA share, for example if you would like five (5) quarts of strawberries for the season, you change the quantity at the bottom of your selection before you select "Add to Cart".

You may also change your quantities on the shopping cart page before clicking "Save and Checkout."

For our seasonal Farm Club/CSA, you select the total amount requested for the whole season, such as 12 boxes or 6 boxes, etc. of the Mixed Vegetable Club/CSA .

After you have made your selections you would like to receive during the season, click "View Cart" and click "Save and Checkout" to finish the signup process.

When you click "Save and Checkout", you will next select your preferred Farmers' Market Pickup Location or Delivery Option.

For the 2012 season, the farmers' markets we will be attending include the following:

Saturdays - Chillicothe, Ohio Farmers' Market

www.chillicothefarmersmarket.org

Wednesdays - Dublin, Ohio Farmers' Market

www.dublinfarmersmarket.com

Thursdays - Bexley, Ohio Farmers' Market

www.bexleyfarmersmarket.com

Delivery direct to your door is available for an additional fee. Click here to get more details!

Select one and click "Choose and Continue". You will then be taken to the "Checkout" page for payment.

How to pay for the Farm Club/CSA:

On the checkout page, you may pay in full with PayPal, Bill Me Later, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover by selecting "Pay with PayPal" or choose to be invoiced later by check/cash.

If you choose to pay in full, you will receive a 5% credit of your total purchase.

You may also pay by cash/check at pickup each week of the farmers market.

How the Farm Club/CSA will work during the season:

Once you complete your membership signup and checkout for the products you selected, you will be alerted by email of your membership details.

Once the harvest begins, we will alert you a week prior that we have your farm products available for you.

Each week that product is available, you may go to "Farm Club/CSA Member Login", sign in and schedule your products by completing an order for pickup at the farmers' market.

For an example, during signup you selected to receive six (6) Mixed Vegetable Boxes for a total of $120, ($20/box).

The system will start your membership balance at $120. Each week you schedule a box for pickup by completing an order for a box. The system will deduct $20 for each Mixed Vegetable box you request that week.

The first week you select a box, the system starts with the $120 as a starting balance and will deduct $20 leaving a remaining balance of $100 for your remaining five (5) Mixed Vegetable boxes.

The next week your membership balance will start at $100 and once you order another box for pickup, the system will leave a remaining balance of $80 for the remaining four (4) Mixed Vegetable Boxes, and so on until your balance reaches $0.00.

If you are on vacation or will not attend the market that week, you simply do not select a box that week and the system will retain your balance in the system until you order a box.

At any time you may sign up for more shares and the system will add that purchase as a credit to your membership balance.
